Poundcake version 2 Build Report
I wasn't very happy with the performance of Poundcake, so decided to rebuild it from the ground up with some minor changes.
Start by designing the baseplate out of some carbon fiber and draw where stuff will go with a scribe.
The outer and inner rails, cut from 3/16" thick black polycarb. The drive motors are also in place, and a roll of tape standing in for a weapon.
Starting to mount the pieces to the baseplate.
Here is the weapon, another variation on the usual Team Daisy theme.
The custom yellow wheels and all of the frame elements mounted.
Weapon motor added.
The insides almost complete.
