Dandelion BotBash Edition Build Report

Two days before I was going to leave for BotBash, I smoked both of Dandelion's drive motors trying to change from belt drive to chain.  No hope of replacing them in time and no way to use anything else.

Dandelion was registered and I wasn't going to just give up.  I looked around to see what I had available.  I used some scrap pieces lying around, the wiring from Dandelion, and a bunch of parts from Buttercup (the Lightweight bot I was slowly building).

The result wasn't pretty, but it went forward, back, left, right when I told it to, so it's all good!

First, I bolted some scrap material together.  Drill, tap, cut, etc.
These 18 volt dewalts and Team Delta pillow blocks are overkill for a 12 lber, but I had them anyway...

The finished bot.  It drove reasonably well!
