Some views of BattleBots 3.0 from Team Daisy.

Check-In, before there were hundreds of people in line.  There isn't much to do the first few days except the registration things anyway, but we were completely ready to be inspected when we got there, and we got in line early, and we were done with everything before lunch on the first day.

The view from near building 180.  It was a great location.

Panorama of the main pit area, morning of the second day (before it got really crazy).  If they go to regionals there might not be so many bots in one place at one time again; I'll miss it.

Pit panorama, continued.

Pit area with banners, Friday I think.

Technical/safety inspection area.

After getting inspected, get your picture taken.

Besides regular photos, all bots had special 3d photos taken.

Final safety briefing, before competiton started.

Standing in line to fight (for about an hour before match time).

Botknocker 19

Center Punch.  Structurally, this bot was cast completely from resin.

Little Egypt.

Froghemoth, at the pit table to our right.

Herr Gepounden, complete with Spin Doctor, Tornado Drive, and all that, on the pit table to our left.

Our poor little Daisy on her pit table, still intact.

Half Gassed.

Hammertime.  It is very educational to get to look at the innards of hundreds of bots.

Village Idiot.  We had a great time cheering this and other forum-visible bots, and got some such cheering in return.  Posting to the forum, being helpful, and friendly, with a web site, is very useful because you arrive with a peer group of people who "know" you somewhat.

The Judge, without its cover.  There will be stories told about this bot.

Kegerator.  It's great that so many people are just in this to have a good time.

Sunshine Lollibot, around fight time.  We got to wave Andy's feather boa in the stands.

Many of the veterans were there even though they didn't have to check in until later.  Recognize these bots?

Phere.

Team Toad.

Trainwreck.

Vlad and the new Vladiator.  Vladiator is a very very cool bot, and he can really drive it well.

Wacker.  One of the lightweights that was fun to watch.
